A substance of animal origin secreted from the mandibular glands of nurse bees. It is a gelatinous substance with a whitish colour. The smell and flavour are quite pungent and it has a decidedly acidic taste. It is normally used as a nutrient in cycles, especially during seasonal changes or periods of psycho-physical stress. The recommended daily dose is 0.5 grams, to be taken on an empty stomach and preferably dissolved under the tongue. Keep refrigerated.
